Title V, VI, and IX

Title V, Part A, Innovative Programs was amended by NCLB and provides funding to implement educational reform programs. The funding provides for the implementation of educational reform programs. These programs are focused at meeting education improvement to meet the needs of special education, at risk, and high needs students. These programs provide innovation in support to improve school, teacher and student performances.

 

Title VI Part B REAP

The Rule Education Achievement Program (REAP) As Amended by No Child Left Behind (NCLB), is designed to address the unique needs of rural school districts by assisting local education agencies in the dressing academic needs more effectively by providing flexibility in the use of limited federal resources. It is similar to Rural Low Income School Program (RLISP) and that it provides funds to address personnel and resources needed to compete for federal competitive grants and receive formula allocations that are too small to be effective. The difference being REAP provides funding for schools with total number of students in average daily attendance of less than 600. In it County that is served by a local education agency located population density of fewer than 10 persons per square mile. (“Title VI, Part B,” 2012)

 

Title IX USCO

title IX, USCO Was Amended by the No Child Left behind Act (NCLB), mandates any state receiving NCLB funds to implement policy that allows students who attend a persistently dangerous public school or are victims of a violent criminal offense while on public school grounds, the allowed to attend a safe public school. In Texas these policies are designated Safe School Choice (SSCO). Before funds are granted states must certify in writing their compliance To the Secretary of the State. (“Title IX,” 2013)
